1. Privacy Policy

1.1 Who we are

DataMight Technologies LLP (“DataMight”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a B2B technology company providing data engineering, AI workflow automation, enterprise portals, analytics, and related professional services.

For the purposes of the UK GDPR and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), DataMight Technologies LLP is the data controller for personal data collected through this website (datamight.in) and associated contact channels, unless stated otherwise in a separate agreement.

Privacy contact: business@datamight.in
General enquiries: business@datamight.in

1.2 Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to business visitors, prospective clients, and other individuals who interact with our public website, consultation forms, live chat assistant, and marketing analytics. It does not apply to personal data we process solely on behalf of clients under a signed data processing agreement (where we act as a processor).

1.3 Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

(a) Contact and consultation forms

When you submit our strategy consultation or contact forms, we may collect:

  • Identity & contact: name, email address, phone number (optional)
  • Professional: company name, industry, services of interest
  • Project context: budget range, timeline, project requirements / message
  • Security fields: reCAPTCHA verification tokens (processed by Google; we do not store the challenge images)

Our home-page consultation form may collect a subset: name, email, company, and project type.

(b) Live chat assistant

If you use the DataMight Operations Assistant, we process the messages you send, which may voluntarily include your email address, company name, or other business details. Chat content may be stored in our lead-management systems when you request a consultation or provide contact details.

(c) Technical and usage data

When you browse our website, we and our analytics partners may automatically collect:

  • IP address (truncated or hashed where configured)
  • Browser type, device type, operating system
  • Pages viewed, referral URLs, approximate geographic region
  • Date/time stamps and interaction events (e.g. successful form submissions via Google Tag Manager)
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookie Policy below)

(d) Data we do not intentionally collect

Our B2B services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. Please do not submit special category data (e.g. health, biometric, political opinions) via our public forms.

1.4 How and why we use your data

1.5 Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above:

  • Sales leads & enquiries: typically up to 24 months after last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for an active contract or legal claim.
  • Chat logs linked to leads: aligned with the lead retention period.
  • Server security logs (rate limiting): short-term retention (e.g. rolling 24–72 hours) unless investigation requires longer storage.
  • Analytics data: governed by Google Analytics 4 retention settings configured in our Google account (commonly 2–14 months for event-level data).

1.6 Recipients and processors

We share personal data only with trusted service providers who process data on our instructions, including:

  • Hosting & infrastructure (website and database servers)
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google reCAPTCHA
  • Email & productivity tools used to respond to enquiries

A current list of subprocessors is available on request at business@datamight.in. Where providers transfer data outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, plus supplementary measures where assessed as necessary.

1.7 Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to a B2B technology provider, including access controls, prepared database statements, environment-based credential management, HTTPS encryption in transit, anti-automation controls, and restricted access to administrative systems.

1.8 Automated decision-making

We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Our chat assistant provides informational responses; human review applies to commercial engagements.

2. Cookie Policy

2.1 What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and tags deployed through tools such as Google Tag Manager (“GTM”).

2.2 How we use cookies

We group cookies on this website as follows:

Category Examples Purpose Duration
Strictly necessary Session / security cookies, reCAPTCHA Form protection, spam prevention, basic site operation Session to 6 months
Analytics _ga, _ga_* (GA4), GTM tags Understand traffic, page performance, and conversions (e.g. form_submission_success) Up to 24 months (Google configurable)
Functional Preference cookies (if enabled) Remember choices that improve experience Varies

2.3 Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4

We use Google Tag Manager to deploy tags, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GTM may fire tags based on events pushed to the dataLayer (for example, after a successful consultation form submission). Google may process your IP address, device identifiers, and usage data under its own terms:

  • Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Analytics opt-out add-on
  • Google Ads Settings

Where required by law (including the UK and EEA), we load non-essential analytics tags only after you provide consent via our cookie banner or preference centre. You may withdraw consent at any time.

2.4 Managing cookies

You can control cookies by:

  • Using our on-site cookie preference controls (where displayed)
  • Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies
  • Installing industry opt-out tools linked above

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair form security features (including reCAPTCHA).

2.5 Do Not Track

Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals in a uniform way. We honour applicable consent requirements through our cookie compliance approach instead.

3. Your Rights

If you are in the UK or EEA (or another jurisdiction with similar laws), you may have the right to:

  • Access — obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion in certain circumstances
  • Restriction — limit processing in certain cases
  • Portability — receive data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is consent-based (e.g. non-essential cookies)

To exercise these rights, email business@datamight.in. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We aim to reply within one month, extendable where permitted.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority—for example, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom: ico.org.uk.

4. Changes & Contact

We may update this Privacy & Cookie Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. Material changes may be highlighted on our website.
